熊琪，女，1981年12月出生，湖北武汉人，2010年6月毕业于华中农业大学动物科技学院动物科技系，博士。

2010/07 –至今，湖北省农业科学院畜牧兽医研究所，助理研究员，副研究员、研究员

2015/04-2016/03，美国奥本大学，兽医学院，博士后

担任Molecular Biology Reports，Cell Stress Chaperones国际SCI期刊审稿人

从事肉羊新品种培育，山羊毛色及牛羊繁殖性状相关功能基因的研究工作

先后主持承担国家自然科学青年基金、湖北省重点自然科学基金、湖北省公益性项目、院青年基金以及省重点实验室开放课题。参加国家及省部级课题13项。

以第一申请人获得国家发明专利1项。以参与人获得实用新型专利3项，鉴定科技成果2项，制定并发布实施湖北省地方标准2项。

发表科技论文35篇，参编书籍4部。其中以第一作者发表SCI 7篇，中文核心期刊4篇，会议论文4篇。
